From first call to final walk

A dedicated crew for each trade, from the first day to the last, with clear updates the whole way through.

  1. 01

    Free inspection

We get on the roof, check the attic and decking, and walk you through what we found, with photos.

  2. 02

    Pick your materials

Your CertainTeed shingle line and color, plus vents and flashing, chosen together. A written quote with no surprises.

  3. 03

    Protect the property

Tarps cover the siding, beds and lawn before a single shingle comes off.

  4. 04

    Tear-off and install

Every layer comes down to the deck and bad boards are replaced. Then the CertainTeed Integrity Roof System goes on: underlayments, starter course, shingles, vents and ridge caps.

  5. 05

    Cleanup and final walk

Magnet sweep, full haul-away and an owner inspection before we call it done.

Included from start to finish.

  • Tear-off of every old layer
  • Deck inspection and rotted-board replacement
  • CertainTeed waterproofing membrane at eaves and valleys, plus water-resistant underlayment
  • CertainTeed starter shingles, field shingles and matching hip and ridge caps
  • New drip edge, flashing and pipe boots
  • Balanced ridge and intake ventilation

The CertainTeed Integrity Roof System™

A roof is more than its shingles. We install CertainTeed's Integrity Roof System, where every layer, from the membrane at the eaves to the caps on the ridge, is made to work together for leak protection, attic ventilation and long-lasting performance.

Numbers match the list. Diagram from CertainTeed's Integrity Roof System brochure.
  1. Waterproofing underlayment

Self-adhering membrane at the eaves, valleys and other vulnerable spots, the first defense against wind-driven rain and ice dams.

  2. Water-resistant underlayment

A protective layer over the whole roof deck that acts as a second barrier against leaks.

  3. Starter shingles

The first course along the edges, designed to seal with the shingles above for wind resistance.

  4. Shingles

Good, better and best CertainTeed lines in the style and color you choose, backed by the manufacturer warranty.

  5. Ventilation

Ridge vents paired with intake or soffit vents let the roof breathe, keeping the attic cooler in summer and drier in winter.

  6. Hip and ridge caps

Matching caps along every hip and ridge line for a clean, finished edge.

On our roofs, not just in the brochure

That is our crew laying new shingles over CertainTeed underlayment. Low-slope sections, like porch roofs, get CertainTeed Flintlastic® or SMARTCOAT™ low-slope products instead of shingles.

Most homes are done in one to two days on site. Bigger or steeper roofs, or a lot of rotted decking, can add time. You get dates before we start.
